The compact would effectively null and void votes cast in Virginia itself and only give its electoral college votes to the nationwide popular vote winner.

Yup, however:

Unconstitutional - they don't care
Assumes Dems will always win the popular vote - elections are rigged, so they WILL (cheat to) always "win" the popular vote unless elections are fixed

They're basically saying, "This is how communists run things and this is what we'll institute everywhere after(/if ever) we seize control. In the meantime, you're gonna have to sue us to MAKE us do it your way. Nah , nah, nah, nah, nah, nah!"
