Is Hungary cooked? What really happened in the April, 2026 election?
I watched a video yesterday that I was more than happy to watch. Dr. Steve Turley offering a very different perspective on the whole Hungarian situation. It's a 13 minute watch, and I highly recommend it.
instead of all the hand-wringing and "they stole the election" and "oh, Hungary just committed suicide" narratives and rhetoric that, of course, spread like a grassfire in the Kalahari desert, Turley is saying that in reality, the situation is anything but lost.
TLDR: the only person who could beat Orban was someone just as conservative and sovereignty minded as Orban. Moreover, Orban isn't over yet. He could come back.

The Guy Who Beat Orban Is Not a Leftist*
While all the globalist and legacy media is touting the Hungary election as some sort of win against populism, there are a few things that frogs should consider before simply swallowing that narrative whole.
They call Victor Orban 'Far-right' and Peter Magyar 'Center-right'; got to keep that 'Far-Right' boogeyman narrative cooking, right?
But the newly elected leader, Peter Magyar, was part of Victor Orban's party (Fidesz) up until only recently. In 2024, and he split from the Orban government primarily (reportedly) because of corruption issues. He founded a new party (Tisza) as an 'anti-corruption, pro-European' alternative.
On certain points, it appears that he's just as staunch as Orban on certain policies, for example, immigration. Tisza opposes Eu migration quotas, etc, and maintains the strong border policy of Fidezs, while talking about even stricter controls over guest workers.
Both emphasize national sovereignty and border security.
Both appear to prioritize avoiding direct involvement in the Ukraine-Russia war, and Tisza opposes the Eu-fast track integration approach for Ukraine.
Where they differ seems to be attitude towards the EU and corruption issues. Tisza is more pro-EU, whereas Orban was decidedly Euroskeptic.
Reportedly, after Magyar split from the Fidesz party, he went town to town in Hungary talking with the people, speaking with them about the corruption in the Fidesz party. He won a landslide victory in the election.
Economically, Tisza sees a pro-EU attitude as being a way forward out of the economic difficulties that Orban's government have given risen to.
Let's summarize*
Corruption and Change
There have been a lot of allegations of cronyism and corruption in the Orban regime. If those allegations are true, then a change is necessary.
Magyar ran on an anti-corruption and more conciliatory approach to the EU, seen as necessary to stabilize the economy, while still maintaining or strengthening national sovereignty, non-EU immigration policies, and strongly conservative and traditional values, an approach that contrasts strongly with the EU's wokism and globalism.
The Orbanesque Foundation is deeply embedded
The 16 years of Orban rule have fundamentally transformed the nation, with traditional values and conservative Fidesz allies all deeply embedded into the judiciary, Media and state institutions.
Magyar targeted two core areas: the corruption in the Orban party and languishing economy due to the hard line anti-EU approach, while maintaining the core traditional and sovereignty values that Orban put in place.
Was this Right Vs Left or Nationalism vs Globalism? Or was it Nationalist Stagnation vs. Nationalist Reform?
So, is Hungary cooked? Is the Maygar victory a victory for Globalism? Wokism? EU-ism? Elon's comments notwithstanding, even though the neo-marxists paint this as a blow against traditional Christian-based sovereignty values, it seems to be any thing but that.
And, after 16 years of Orban, if corruption and cronyism are really a problem, which the victory of Magyar suggests it is, then this sort of change could be a real step forward.
One last point
Pivot Point?
Given that the EU is on the verge of collapse, with rebellion against globalist and wokist policies becoming more and more fervent in a large number of EU-countries (Ireland, the Netherlands, Germany, etc), then maybe now is the time for the forces uplifting Christian civilization to pivot from simply opposing the EU to an engagement that will fundamentally transform the EU.

This will just accelerate the collapse of the EU. Check if I am right in 4 months.
Moscow seems to agree:
Moscow Times: Moscow Warns of ‘Perfect Storm’ for EU After Orbán’s Defeat in Hungary
72 hour rule just became the 4-month rule. Let's not simply latch on to promulgated narratives, but apply frog-like attention to data, information and substance. Let's see how this plays out.
Damn, the guy put his childres puppy in the MICROWAVE in front of his kids after beating the MOM up, then takes his DICK out and whacks off in front of the kids...That's their new POS, if I freakin know this, the Hungarian IDIOTS that were in the street supporting this MONSTER, they know this too!!...Sorry HELL is coming for you...
Just putting this here for discussion, because anons don't swallow outrage bait without consideration:
Did Magyar put a puppy in a microwave?
AI Overview
No, Péter Magyar, the Hungarian opposition leader, did not put a puppy in a microwave. This claim is a false and debunked rumor that originated from a fake story on a recently created website, which was later falsely repeated by Polish opposition leader Jarosław Kaczyński.
Origin of the Claim: The story was traced back to a website called Magyar Hirek 24 (Hungarian News 24), launched just one month before the election.
Retraction: Kaczyński's political party, Law and Justice (PiS), later acknowledged the claim was false, admitting it relied on unverified media rumors.
Political Context: The false accusation was made shortly after Magyar's TISZA party performed well in Hungarian parliamentary elections.
The story is widely recognized as a disinformation tactic.
Did magyar expose himself to his children?
There is no verified evidence that Péter Magyar exposed himself to his children. This specific claim appears to be part of a debunked disinformation campaign targeting him during the 2026 Hungarian election season.
The claim originated from a fake book attributed to his ex-wife, former Justice Minister Judit Varga, titled 16 Years with the Monster — Confessions of Péter Magyar’s Ex-Wife [15]. Fact-checkers have confirmed the following regarding this story:
Fabricated Allegations: The book's supposed contents—which included claims of Magyar stripping in front of his children and cooking a puppy in a microwave—were found to be entirely false [15].
No Comment: Neither Magyar nor his Tisza Party leaders have commented on these specific, sensationalized accusations from the fake memoir [15].
Context of Political Scandal: This disinformation surfaced while Magyar was leading massive protests against the Orbán government over its handling of actual state-run child abuse cases [11, 14, 17].
While Judit Varga did publicly accuse Magyar of domestic violence and emotional intimidation after he leaked recordings of her, she did not substantiate the claims about exposure to their children found in the fabricated book.
YES, his wife put out a statement.
Oh good I found it. YT Channel, "Rich Docs Politics" heading says "Trump didn't lose Hungary he sent Orban to destroy the EU" Not prmethian updates, but this Indian guy is one of the regulars on PU, hope this helps.
I don't know how to put inks in here, I saw the video on YT Promethian Updates, it was two men, the one white haired Indian looking guy, and the other guy said he had lived in Hungary for 20yr and he told that story and also showed a newspaper clipping with Magjars wifes statement. She said the kids had to have theapy after he cooked the dog! The host, Indian guy was visibly shocked.
Sounds pretty much like your run-of-the-mill smear campaign targeting a perceived threat. (remember, Trump is a misogynist/racist/bigot/oligarch/etc.)
if Orban's regime has actually been corrupted, they'd see Magyar as a threat.
If the Globalists think Magyar might continue Orban's direction, they'd see him as a threat.
Politics is a dirty, dirty, dirty business.
