It's not so much a Christian thing, as it is a Hypocratic Oath related thing with Medics and Corpsmen. If they happen to also be Christians, that's all the better. But we train and work with the S.E. Asian countries militarily, and so we've been able to impart certain ideals and beliefs into their militaries. Before we started doing that, they were much, much more brutal in how they treat POWs. They're still more brutal than us, but not as brutal as they once were. Plus, there's the Geneva Convention, which states that once a combatant is officially taken prisoner, they must be properly cared for and treated for injuries, illnesses, etc.

It looks like standard IV fluids. I donβt see blood going into his vein. Bruising of his right forearm might be indicative of an upper right forearm or elbow fracture. Does not appear life threatening.
