They only seem to love American Christians who are useful for defending Jewish interests, which means fighting "anti-semitism," quashing legitimate criticism (also defined as anti-semitism), and defending the state of Israel with cash and material support. (Not giving them money and help--also anti-semitism.)
Meanwhile it is still illegal for a Christian to evangelize Israeli Jews.
