The legal framework for this very scenario has already been established through the courts.
Like in a financial way (paying royalties to them) or in a complete loss of sovereignty (where the patent holder takes over all decision making for their GMO humans?
The door for both scenarios has been opened.
Geesh, gotta keep an eye on that. Most of everyone I know got at least one, so grateful me or my immediate family refused
I believe there were possibly some patents or discussions about a person being a GMO after injection - GMO being a legal term in the context. Not the particular patents in the OP / article but different ones. Been a while - would not have references. Could have been the one that has 666 in it - IDK.
So, you may not be too far from an eventual reality.
