People are aware. But a lot of people are also looking out for number one and are not willing to stick their necks out. Because Someone is going to have to care for their families if things go pear shaped. As Faith and Courage doesn’t put food in your kids belly's or a roof over their heads. So asking them to risk their necks without some assurances they aren’t going to be hung out to dry. Again. Because some number crunching suit in a bunker somewhere ran the numbers and decided it was a bad time. They have lives and families of their own to think of. And by now everyone knows what happened to the Jan 6ers.

What I find disturbing- is not that people are going around in blissful ignorance- but that people ARE TRYING to live as normal as possible- while others are inserting themselves into their lives, either with deviant behavior, or intrusive behaviors, about their kids, pets, driving, church attendance, swimming, biking..., the list goes on..,
On top of the minor intrusion is the evil machinations of supposed leaders forced upon regular citizens who as she said : unaware - ill equipped to fight back...

The people lack agency. They need to be shown, convinced they can make a difference.
How to do this? Give them back the power of their vote. The undiluted voice of the people will shake the land.
It's non-violent. It doesn't put their families at risk. Rebellion without negative consequences.
