Happened to me the same way; just there one day. No fanfare, no pre-award notice so I could write an acceptance speech. Just BOOM.

I remember now thinking then it was like being chosen for the Order of the Arrow in Boy Scouts. You're standing there in a circle, in the dark with a big fire in the middle, and men dressed like Indians rush around, occasionally stopping in front of someone and punching them in the chest.

That's what getting my pepe felt like.
