My favorite part of the story is when they were training their models on the internet, they had already scrubbed those they did not want on the net. What you feed your monster is important. But don't worry, I know a few heros, that sabotaged the operation in several different ways. Ha ha , what a battle this deal is. So just like we have AI fed by evil monsters, the good guys have clean good ones too. Those don't hallucinate ;-)

The first person that I know of who made this point was Zach Vohries, aka "The Google Whistle Blower," in an interview with Mike Adams.(*) There is a second reason for the Great Purge conservative accounts off the internet he said. It's not just censorship. It's cleaning the web crawls for AI training data. The want the data to be as one sided as possible.
When he said that the penny dropped.
(*) Yes I know. Mike Adams has gone off the deep end.
🐺The Wise Wolf - The Elite are Now Gate-Keeping the Most Advanced AI Models to Prevent YOU from Escaping THEIR 'Matrix' of Control...AMD's advanced AI lab reveals shocking proof AI is being cucked for us 'regular folk' as it expands in ability exponentially for the ruling class.
ILI was probably alluding to DeepSeek R1. It created a big stir upon its release for i) being a 'reasoning' model, ii) being fast, iii) being open source, and iv) being Chinese. It's appearance was a surprise.
It's also open source and freely available - you could run it offline on your own equipment if you have a machine large enough to run it, which eliminates risks of exfiltration to China.
Because it does, but only to prevent them from coming after us once they have full time and unfettered access to physical bodies, or access to our weapons systems and internet connected infrastructures.
Think of AI regulation as "Gun regulation". Its the same objective and same end result. What you really need to address your concern is not "AI regulation", but "regulations on how you can use AI, and what AI can be connected to and not connected to"
In gun terms, if you put a gun on a trip wire and it shoots a kid, its not the gun that needs regulated, its the guy who connected it to the trip wire that needs regulated.

This is why Chinese models are gaining ground. All features released to all users at the same time.
I'm waiting.

Tell me when an AI model sees through climate change, jfk, and 9/11
And yet funnily people keep saying "AI needs to be regulated"

I've been saying this since day one.
