I think thimerosal was phased out of most vaccines.
It was mainly used in multi-dose vials to stop contaminationn from repeatedly having needles inserted to withdraw a single dose of medicine.
They mainly moved to single dose vials, so the thimerosal was no longer needed.
There might be some formulations that still contain it, but they also have single dose formulations without it for those that don't want to shoot up mercury.
They did this to counteract parents not getting their kids vaccinated due to mercury concerns and has been pretty common for the last ~15-20 years.
I'm not saying that these vaccines are "safe". I'm giving a heads up to people who are leaning into the "vaccines are dangerous because of mercury" so they won't be taken by surprise if a pro-vaxxer countered this argument by pointing out that there are mercury free formulations of virtually every vaccine available now.
So make certain you have a strong pivot you can use when they say something along the lines "If mercury/thimerosal is the reason you're rejecting a vaccine, just ask for a single dose formulation that is mercury/thimerosal- free".
