This guy has the lowest rating as a German leader ever in the history of Germany. Only 18% of the people "support" this guy. Just yesterday he presented plans for German men to be drafted up to 70 years of age. 70!
For those of you who know about WW2; The Nazis organized a "Volkssturm" (Storm of the People) that only drafted men up to 60 years of age.
The Germans need to wake up faster. Their economy is going down the drain fast. The Green Idiots are too strong still.
It's "only" 20%, but still. Also, let's not forget that a lot of those are just EU-citizens. Funnily enough, I speak to Germans of Turkish descent fairly recently; they are all very conservative and vote AfD mostly.
I love how Germany is so critical of U.S. and Israeli policy toward Iran... saying they don't understand the exit strategy, we only want business as usual with Iran, we think everyone should get along, etc...
.... and yet Germany is one of the biggest cheerleaders for EU spending $100's of Billions supporting Ukraine, and virtually disarming themselves by giving Ukraine all the weapons they can spare... in a war they want to escalate and with an even less clear exit strategy.
