One question I’ve asked here is… when Jesus returns, how would he be recognized?
The current Christian belief seems to be that he will be in a physical white horse on the sky, and that we’ve been pulled up there to come down with him somehow (rapture) and no experience of tribulation was ever had.
Is that the correct interpretation, though, or could God’s own children miss something by expecting the wrong thing, as they did the first time when they expected a mighty general to liberate them from Rome, and got a suffering servant who atoned for sin - and through that misunderstanding, many actually even ended up rejecting him.
I don’t have an answer for this, not for you or me. Everyone will have to come up with it themselves.
There are two events according to scripture. One is Jesus coming as a thief in the night—-the doctrine where that could happen at any moment—the Harpadzo or Rapture——and one where He comes as a conquering King. Since over 300 scriptures were fulfilled literally just as they were written for His first coming, why would the over 700 scriptures of His Second coming be any different? The disciples did not understand His first coming because the Holy Spirit was not given until after His resurrection. Most of His Second coming is described in Isaiah 60-66. Take it literally just as the Bible says.
I can’t confirm that’s true or not true, however, it often seems that when everybody has something figured out, that thing can be the one potential that’s surest to not be what happens.
Virtually EVERYBODY “knows” the Rapture is gonna happen. That’s a big warning light to me.
Actually only about 1 out of 10 churches believe in a Rapture. Jesus said, let not your hearts be troubled----He was giving a review the end times ----- I go to prepare a place for you and if I go, I will come and receive you to myself. The Apostle Paul said , in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, the dead in Christ will rise and those that are alive will be changed and will be "taken up and meet Him in the clouds and so we will ever be with the Lord. This is not how we read His Second coming which is in "the day of vengeance of our God;"
The church at Philadelphia is specifically told they would NOT go through the Great Tribulation-------Rev 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

What was the warning?
Repeated how many times?
Decide to be open-minded enough that you want to know, even if it conflicts with your current worldview.
The only King I know of is Jesus. We live in Satan’s world and Jesus is our Only hope. Trump is battling a Cabal that has been in power behind the scenes since Nimrod became the first world ruler. Only if God delays the Second coming will our POTUS prevail. The Cabal would burn the entire world just to rule over what is left.
I am confused, do you think Trump is this ruler instead of King Jesus?
