Maryland will be the first state to ban surveillance pricing, protecting grocery shoppers from data-driven price discrimination.

Are they putting any enforcement funding behind it, or just offering pretty words?

Either enforcement funding, OR stating a company caught SHALL (not may) pay no less than X (I suggest 100) times the amount of the total of that customer's purchase for the past year AND pay all the customer's legal fees if found guilty.
