I think the same thing. Also, why would the idiot even do that after all the much more serious crimes he committed? I think it's a white hat op.... I think he was apprehended & for a lighter sentence (something other than death) he's "cooperating" by doing what the white hats ask.
I am assuming that this sort of crime is easier for the white hats to bring to court, once it's in court then all the conspiracies can unravel - or something like that. IDK but it just seemed very op like to me. Long ago I noted something weird in his & Lisa Pages twitter feeds. I think they were apprehended & served time for maybe a year (by absences on twitter) & now publicly acting something like what they used to but.....
