Oh he's definitely a Muslim. If you look at his quotes on Islam since 1988 you'll completely understand why the UK is now brown and Islamic.

On what the West can learn from Islam (1993 speech “Islam and the West” at Oxford):

“Islam can teach us today a way of understanding and living in the world which Christianity itself is the poorer for having lost.”

On Western misunderstandings and cultural debt (1993 speech):

“If there is much misunderstanding in the West about the nature of Islam, there is also much ignorance about the debt our own culture and civilisation owe to the Islamic world.”

On Islam as integral to Europe (1993 speech):

He has also quoted the Quran approvingly (e.g., on saving a life being like saving all humanity, from Surah Al-Ma'idah 5:32) in speeches praising Muslim charitable work, and has repeatedly emphasized the need for greater understanding between the Islamic world and the West while praising the contributions of Muslim communities in Britain.
