The Apocrypha did not meet the standards to be included in the Bible. 1.The 27 books of the NT had to be written by an original Apostle or someone that was tutored by one and worked with them. 2.The books had to be accepted by ALL the churches and taught in every church. 3. They had to agree on basic doctrine.
There are other criteria that had to be met but these were the major ones.
The Roman Catholic Church did not officially canonize the Apocrypha until the Council of Trent (1546 AD). This was in part because the Apocrypha contained material which supported certain Catholic doctrines, such as purgatory, praying for the dead, and the treasury of merit which NEVER was in the Gospel.
These books were never acknowledged as sacred Scriptures by the Jewish Church, and therefore were never sanctioned by our Lord. They were not allowed a place among the sacred books, during the first four centuries of the Christian Church.

The OT was translated into Greek in 270BC. There are still copies of the Septuagint so we know the OT is the original. The NT is in compete harmony with the OT. I remember in Genesis Satan convinced Eve not to believe God's word. Believe what you want, I will stick with Holy Bible.

I'm saying "Stay frosty and be open-minded to whatever may come as the great awakening unfolds."
