I suggest a carbon steel chainmail helm (or even pure iron) dipped in zinc phosphate (or one of several other Fe(III)PO4 coating methods), so it won't rust.
Benefits over a "Tin foil hat:"
It makes a much better faraday cage
it fits better on your head
covers more of the head
air flows through, cooling you down
you look like a knight instead of an idiot.
I mean, ya, if you wear it poorly you'll look like a larper, but Larper, Knight of the First Order is way better than "Crazy Conspiracy Theorist of the First Order."
