Technically, Boeing left years ago. Their headquarters are now in Chicago. Their production facilities are enormous and would probably only be worth rebuilding elsewhere if the present ones were failing. Their engineering could probably be relocated, but folks out there love the skiing/hiking that you can't find in Florida. I doubt a lot would move, but some surely would. The loss of "tribal knowledge" would hurt as it did when they decided to outsource the 787 around the world.
That's what Lake Washington is for! 😉😂 There is a huge interest in kayaking & waterboard there. Best sales point for Florida is the sun. A lot of Seasonal Affective Disorder in WA. I wouldn't advertise lovebug season though. 😧
