At one point what we now call the Deep State. Represented some of the best and brightest leaders and thinkers we could produce. Great Leaders of Men, Business Tycoons and Industrialists, Scientists, Scholars, Philosophers etc.

Many of the United States key figures, especially in the early days counted themselves either as members of some of the self-same Secret Societies. Or close friends/family of members. The same groups that now cause us problems today

Frankly an inordinate amount of the values of the United States took inspiration from Masonic traditions. It’s probably fair to say that without the precursors of the “Deep State”. It’s fairly likely that Classical Liberalism from which the U.S was birthed. Likely would never have come about.

Might be it’s saying goodbye to what they once represented rather than what they became. As we turn the page on a new era
