Yes, he needs a tad more seasoning to deal with these political hacks. But I like him. Hegseth is feisty, just like Trump. We want and need a real War Secretary, not a politician.

He and Trump have accomplished a great deal with our military in a relatively short period of time considering what they inherited. Trump inherited a neutered and weak military from Obama. This term Trump has strengthened our forces even more, and more is coming on the procurement end. Military industrial capacity is expanding. Because of Trump and Hegseth's efforts, recruitments are up to record levels and our military has reclaimed its pride and war ethos. DEI and trans mental illness is gone. Also, many of the political hacks in command were given their walking papers or shifted to non important posts waiting for retirement. Hegseth has made us proud of our military again and proud to be American. Other countries fear us unlike the previous 4 years. I personally think this is huge and Hegseth should be proud of the job he has done.
