We need to do something about those child predators.. quick trial,
That's an unbelievable figure.
The pedo elite choose what the news reports to us. So; we never really hear about this.
If you do; it is always an "isolated" case. They take out their trash when they need to.
"That's an unbelievable figure."
Based on 2026 reports from the U.S. Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), FBI’s National Crime Information Center (NCIC), and National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), the statistics surrounding missing children in the U.S. indicate a significant, ongoing crisis. Key Statistics
• Missing Frequency: Estimates commonly cited indicate a child goes missing or is reported missing in the U.S. every 40 to 68 seconds.
• Daily/Annual Volume: Over 2,100 children are reported missing each day, totaling over 800,000 annually.
• Unreported Cases: It is estimated that approximately 500,000 additional children go missing without ever being reported to authorities.
• 2024 Data: In 2024, there were 349,557 reports of missing persons involving youth entered into the NCIC. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Contextualizing the Data
• Majority are Runaways: Up to 93% of missing child reports are classified as endangered runaways.
• Family Abductions: A significant portion of cases involve family abductions, often due to custody disputes.
• Stranger Abductions: While highly publicized, stranger abductions make up less than 1% of all reported cases.
• Recovery Rates: NCMEC reported that in 2024, they assisted with 29,568 cases and helped bring 91% of them home. [6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11]
High-Risk Factors
• Digital Dangers: There has been a reported 300% increase in online enticement reports to NCMEC between 2021-2023, with increasing reports of financial sextortion.
• Vulnerability: Every 40 seconds a child goes missing in the U.S., they are placed in danger of trafficking, exploitation, or violence. [4, 7, 9, 10]
Note: The 500,000 unreported figure is a long-standing estimate, while NCMEC and NCIC focus on reported cases, which often fluctuate between 300,000 and 500,000 annually, not including those that are immediately resolved. [2, 5, 6, 8, 12]

Shocking and disgusting.
Most are found very quickly, this is a little deceiving 🤷🏼♂️
"Most are found very quickly, this is a little deceiving 🤷🏼♂️"
...what about the ones that don't get found "very quickly"...
...in my estimation, any conversation starter on this subject is a positive endeavor...
...quite frankly, I am a wee bit taken back by the logic of your supposition...
I agree, 1 is 1 too many
Prove it.
I tried to find the information that reasonably shows that common belief (actual reports with a reasonable documentation trail). What I found where anecdotes or vague aggregate claims by entities that are themselves provably compromised.
How many kids do you know of that went missing and weren’t found? If 1.3 million kids went missing a year and most weren’t found we would know of a bunch of families who had missing kids or see posters everywhere. Most missing kids are runaways, family disputes and misunderstandings. Once I went to the school and “I guess” reported my daughter missing. A cop got involved. Long story short, she got on the wrong bus and the school said the buses were all empty, they were wrong. We are all on the same team and I’m not trying to be combative but…
