We left the WHO (good) but they are getting desperate. This is feeling like Corona Take 2 because of the midterms, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they released another virus that’s actually a problem for more than the elderly and infirm this time. Hanta does have a 35% fatality rate.
I do find the 8 week incubation period insanely difficult to believe. And the decision to go bird watching??? At a landfill???
Edit to add: there’s also the issue of those 300+ vials of virus going missing in 2021 and Hanta being one of the viruses that went missing in Australia…that somehow didn’t get reported or caught until 2023…source.
Thank God those flight attendants told the sick woman to disembark instead of letting her infect the entire KLM flight…
