The only reason Labour gained control is due to backlash against Boris and the Tories. They blew the mandate they were given. Now Labour is getting a shellacking for the same reason. Let's hope that Reform can live up to the confidence the UK citizens are placing in their hands - or will they too, not live up to expectations.
This is much more meaningful than people might give it credit for. What's really significant about this, more than just an outsider rising above the Uniparty (Labour/Tories), more than just a backlash against failed policies, is that the juggernaut that was the Globalist New World Order that has pushed forward for many decades has been derailed, and is no longer in the driver's seat.
It's more than just a change of direction. It's a reversal of the ideological push towards the Globalist One World Government. Things will be chaotic, and things will take time, but I would characterize this as Stage II Brexit.
Brexit was the big shift, cracking the EU's control on everything. This local election situation signifies a development and expansion of that same shift.
We can see parts of Europe starting to follow. The Local government (Municipal) in France saw strong gains for the National Rally (Le Pen, <ahem> 'Far-right'*) earlier this year. Hungary is still going forward. AfD is picking up more and more support in Germany.
It might not feel like any of these are big gains, but the reality is, they are a complete reversal of the direction of the Globalist agenda from the last four decades. (There was a minor push-back in the era of Reagan and Thatcher, but it was quickly absorbed by a re-doubling of the push towards the NWO.)
"I see Tony Blair, the millionaire, is saying we cannot afford the state pension. Labour have said its a "benefit" and should be means tested.
This is the biggest case of gaslighting rubbish i have ever heard.
We pay directly all our working lives, via National Insurance Contributions into our state pension agreement. Its no different to a private pension.
Imagine a scenario where after paying into a private pension fund for 35 years, on the contractual agreement that you will receive your money back when you retire, as monthly income, that the private company then turns round as you near retirement and says it wont pay you, but thank you very much for the tens of thousands of pounds you have given them over the decades. That is fraud.
The government is likewise happy to take our money on this contractual basis, but now wants to renege on this agreement.
Funny how there is plenty of money for MPs expenses and huge wage packets. They never say "wait, the country can't afford this", do they ?
Westminster Labour gave away £13 billion of OUR money in foreign aid last year. They blew £6 billion on asylum claims and supporting illegal migrants. The paid £15 billion in benefits to families with at least one migrant in them. They gave Ukraine £8 billion. Starmer has agreed to give the EU billions in direct violation of his election promise to respect Brexit. Labour have tried to give away the Chagos islands and then do a deal that will cost the UK tax payer, according to real world calculations, £35 billion over 99 years, far more than Labour have tried to gas light us on.
I say all that to highlight Labours obsession with attacking UK workers and pensioners. They have just put the tax burden through the roof for average workers as well as increasing N.I. contributions, which, as i said earlier, PAY OUR STATE PENSIONS.
For Tony Blair to sit on his gilded perch and spout his utter hypocrisy, is indicative of the lefts inability to grasp the reality of national economics, feelings and reaction.
We can, according to Welsh labour, afford another 36 feckless grifters on the Senedd gravy train. When it comes to politicians wages and expenses, as i said earlier, money is no object...take note Tony Blair."

Praying for true reform mac..🙏
Prepare for disappointment. Farage will become PM and he'll make some progress towards getting rid of the immigrants - but not as much as we'd wish.
If only this weren't true.
However, if he doesn't deliver, those famous 'pints in the local pub' PR stunts are going to become very uncomfortable for him.
Rooting for our UK peeps!
Thanks. It's a bit late, but it's better than nothing and gives me hope for an even stronger shift to the right.

*Far right = Non-globalist, nationalist <ahem>
This is really, really good news, imo.
I agree!
If I may quote Gareth Hynes:
