buckle up and enjoy the ride. My third is days to weeks away. Be rooted in God's Word if you are not already; that is the most important thing.
Outside of that it changes everything; you will realize just how much time you were wasting. Don't discipline in anger, walk away if you need to. Read the Bible to your children; be a biblical example. Don't be afraid to let them take risks but be there for support when they fail. Prepare yourself for a lot less sleep; pray ceaselessly. Be prepared for the marathon, don't run the sprint and always stay in the fight.
Understand what is important and what is not; this may mean pulling back in your career/finances. But understand those things will fade away with the world but how you Shepard your children has eternal value.
God speed brother it is the greatest thing in the world to experience being a parent; truly a miracle!
We are doing a multi gen household in a giant house with my parents who will babysit. My wife will be a housewife and I will work from home and my dad and I will homeschool and I will home birth and not vaccinate either and there will be lots of Christian stuff too.
Have any advice on things that are smart to buy or a waste of money?
That is awesome you have the support; super necessary especially with your first as you guys will be wiped out. Remember if you are struggling, don't suck it up let people know, post-partum is real (home birth great, you will avoid them pressuring you with pitocin/vaccines, not that you give in to anyways).
I would say you likely don't need a diaper bin (most of time you'll just be tired and throw in a trash can). Assuming your wife will pump; breast milk bags a must but you really don't need to go crazy on the cleaning. We rinse everything under warm water and good to go, some people go to ridiculous lengths to sterilize etc...remember your body is amazing and will be good to go.
Remember, you won't need a million outfits during the newborn phase, lots of times you are going to be so tired you will put in whatever is close and clean. Constant stock of diapers and wipes is a must, mobiles, toys etc truthfully you don't need to much of b/c baby will be focused on you guys during newborn phase. Don't go crazy with a baby tub, just something simple that you can wash your baby in, remember you will be holding them at all times so features/style don't matter. Have thermometer on hand in case baby gets sick, first aid stuff, silver metal nipple covers for your wife's breasts as will get sore and cream for her and baby.
We rarely used our basonet...baby slept next to wife for most part (they say this is frowned upon so whatever you are comfortable with) just make sure no pets in the room. I would have crib or basonet, but again if baby is sleeping in bed basonet rarely used and had crib in separate room if needed privacy. That's why I say maybe don't need basonet but your call.
Have one decent stroller, getting out and walking so important. Just make sure its versitle, nothing crazy; I doubt she will be running so you don't need to go to fancy and will take her body a long time to recover so walking should be fine.
With closing functionality is key....avoid excessive buttons snaps. Onesees are very easy, remember as much as you think you will be out and about often you likely won't be. Patience is key...use each other; make sure each is getting rest. Find a routine that works and stick with it.
Biggest waste is likely the camera; although as first time parents you may still want it. We found with our first we were checking camera constantly when baby was napping in crib....with 2nd we had faith. It's hard, your call, but likely you could pass on a camera.
Hope that helps! Any other questions feel free to ask, wife do any day, such a blessing to bring another child into the world!
As they grow up, don't be afraid to let them make mistakes when the consequences are minimal. As they get older, you need to relinquish control, and hopefully by then they've learned that actions have consequences and they've learned to make good decisions.
Some parents try to maintain more control over their kids as they grow up, and the kids tend towards rebellion.
You should definitely file. I went from owing $700 under Biden to getting a $400 refund under Trump. Having that many dependents could also get you a fat refund.
Wouldn't that be something. It won't though until Satan is bound. You know Federal Reserve wasn't here during the time of the old testament. There's conflicts of all kinds even then.
I want decades of refunds on monies I was taxed that went to NGO’s, illegals, junk food for SNAP beneficiaries and to pharmaceutical companies to bring to market inadequately tested vaccines and other meds designed to kill and harm us and our pets, as well as to endless wars to profit big companies and their investors.
I just doubled my exemptions on my W-4, from 2 to 4. I haven't seen the check yet after the change but I will know the difference on Thursday. If I don't feel it's enough of a change, I will increase it again and I don't plan to file taxes next year.
My wife is pregnant with our first. Can you give any advice for pregnancy or childrearing?

Boy, are you with the program.
Think through every purchase. Make sure you really need it. Also, own objects that will last, ideally made by artisans.
Are you growing food too?
Have your kids read the classic books of western civilization. Teach them true and patriotic American history. Easy to find a list online.

From the comments, this is last September.
People keep posting old shit for traffic.
The real news is the power of tarriff ended 7 wars. Federal reserve 2913 a uear later we were in wei. Imagine that. Tarriffs can prevent war.

We all be millionaire except for those on welfare all the time.
Argent is the french word for money. 3 passengers died of HauntYa Virus on a ship from Argentina (Argent + 3 letters). IRS is 3 letters.
Q said "Its a marathon". 13+13 =26 miles. The marathon bombing was 2013 (1913+100). It's been 13 years. (2013+13=2026) We're at the halftime show.
CDC says 38% may die. Superbowl 38 halftime show was the big reveal. The MILKERS. Parasites. Exposed.
38=19+19. Will the next "pandemic" be the HauntYa-19 virus? COV-FE+FE ?

Wow, you really have to think and know how to do math.
You always bring the deep dig goat! ✨👏
So basically all the overseas interests that were paying those tariffs decided to put an end to it in 1913
nice clip of Pres. Trump, looking to “income tax out”
Property tax as well.
I agree, definitely!
Note… the headline says Trump declared war on the IRS. Your title says he struck the final blow.
Both titles are examples of sensationalism. 😁
Sorry. I just copy.

I am hoping for a major refund.
