I think we can safely say that none of this is news to Putin. The unholy alliance with China was pushed on him by the Cabal under Biden during the forced Ukraine war, but with Trump back his strings are getting cut as well. Thats why he said that Russia is not abandoning US dollar right after Trump won.
That segment was kinda sus/"off", especially if one believes there’s a "sovereign alliance" among all 3: PDJT, Xi and Putin (and maybe a few - more minor - others, including MBS of Saudi Arabia)

You might want to consider they are all on the same side. Russia appears more sane by the day when compared to the likes of Europe. Maybe China sees it.
