I hope the guy is a good guy deserving a rest, for far too long they were straight up Traffickers on the cartel Take...I'm a life long AZ resident...the border patrol, of the past and hopefully not the present, were nothing to brag about...cartel bought and paid for, maybe this guys 37yrs were different...lmao
My thoughts exactly. I grew up in the Lower Rio Grande Valkey in Texas. News always had drug busts and trafficking busts, sometimes it was straight up, but far too often it was somebody on the inside helping the bad guys. Like you, i m compelled to hope the best, but nothing surprises me anymore.
I knew some guys from Mexico on a construction crew and they told me they came across in a regular van, a bunch of them, I asked how they hid...he said they didn't, they paid the American border patrol then rolled on..!! I was pissed, still am that was 1995

Well, that was disappointing (but thank you for providing it). I have to wonder. The publication was itself short on sauce, complete with unnamed sources, alleged investigations, and a lack of documentation. I noticed elsewhere, it referenced the two self-defense incidents in Minnesota, as though the agents were at fault. The more I turn this over in my thinking, the more I'm inclined to set it on the shelf and see how it ages.
