If they used their gun "logic", they would be calling for a ban on cars, as cars kill people.. but they'll just do the next best thing (just like guns) and take away as much freedom as possible.
They are power hungry savages.
Most likely they use infrared cameras and illumination lights so that it works under variable and low light conditions. Most sunglasses are transparent to the infrared band. But in general your question is a good one. If it can't get a lock on the eyes will it steer the car to the shoulder? Or disable the start button if you are already parked?
Gawd. I don't like this ever encroaching surveillance system either. It fits squarely into the UN's vision of a permission-based society, i.e. Agenda 2030.
If Hollywood still existed, this would have really affected them. Remember all those scenes where the driver looks at the passenger when they say something very shocking, and for full 10 seconds they would be looking at the passenger, arguing, or screaming or just staring, and I would be sitting watching thinking "Oh no this is the end, this how the guy is gonna die", lol. Always made me very stressed, kek.
So does this mean you can't wear sunglasses wile you drive anymore?
Right.
They acted like we are all DUI drivers.

Most women won’t even make it past their driveway. 😆😆

It is a source of anxiety for sure.
Oh and if they have a husky there, they are in trouble.
Just wait until they get to the “your eyes aren’t soulless dark spots” phase.
I won't be buying a new Subaru!
