I was born here, both of my parents were born here, all four grandparents immigrated in the early 1900s -- and not for one minute have I ever not known how blessed I am to be American. My grandparents loved this country as did my parents and, while I appreciate my heritage, enjoy(ed) traveling to other countries, meeting great people and experiencing their rich cultures, I'm always thankful to be on American soil. This is the greatest country in the world and right now -- the most amazing time to be alive (and awake). I'm sure most of our American patriots feel the same and know just how very blessed we are.
