You do for 3d graphics technically because the software is a fucking nightmare to learn.

Yeah, that’s the problem. You spend hundreds of hours learning to squeeze the most out of the software and are too tired to learn a newer, possibly better and cheaper solution.

I almost jumped from ArchiCad to Vectorworks dozens of times out of frustration, but that fear of learning kicked in every time.
