Genuflect is an occult horror and esoteric fictionis it tho? novel by Tracy Twyman, first published in 2017.
The story follows a historian, Pamela Auger, who travels to London and stumbles upon a sinister sex-magic ritual taking place in an underground Temple of Mithras.
The cult's actions threaten the fabric of reality and risk destroying both Heaven and Earth. The book is well-regarded among fans of esoteric literature for its heavy, research-backed exploration of mystery cults, secret societies, and occult history.
However, readers frequently note that the narrative contains deeply disturbing themes, graphic content, and dense historical expositions that interrupt the pacing.
Due to the book's complex and polarizing nature, Twyman later compiled a series of supplementary essays, visual breakdowns, and a "Frequently Asked Questions" section. These are available in a spin-off/companion book titled Genuflect 2.0.
