Okay as much as i want to say yes that's a mask/weird hybrid person, it looks like the kind of issue you get from a shadow artefact due to two light sources hitting him simultaneously. One coming from in front, one coming from above
You’re right, it absolutely does look like that, for a second before I rewatched and zoomed in, I thought this could be the explanation. Unfortunately, It does not explain the hollowing out of his neck with every inhale. There’s a clear difference between the two.
