Hopefully, people understand what happened. The idiots pushing green power spent the money on a losing proposition. Green power is dead, new generating plants need to built and transmission lines need to build. Those both take time and money.
Grid infrastructure has been ignored for years. They put all their eggs in the basket of the green grift without addressing the grid and all of its points of failure, regardless of the actual energy source - like making our own damn transformers. Now that bill is coming due, guess who is going to end up paying the tab?
They're worthless because the grift didn't factor in the long term cost of maintenance and upgrades. One big money pit. It was always a grift from the beginning to get tax dollars for even more grift and corruption. And most of the brain dead fools bought the lie and many still do. These so called forms of "sustainable" green energy in the end are much more polluting and costly than fossil fuels. It was always unsustainable. All that money should have been spent upgrading and fortifying our grid.
That is the problem with centralized government interventions instead of allowing market forces to dictate which direction business investment and technological innovation heads. Government driven development always ends in failure and corruption.
