The most recent conversation between the two of us has been about cLiMaTe ChAnGe. I was surprised to discover that at least in the case of my libtard friend, that he is still a full on a believer. I expected him to back track or down play it. I was wrong.
He sent me a New York Times link to prove his point. I didn't read it. I did say that cLiMaTe ChAnGe is a small part of the NWO/communist strategy.
The reason I'm telling you about this is to help anyone that I can to hopefully help you to know the thoughts and beliefs of the opposition.

Once accepted, the Anthropomorphic Global Warming hypothesis (later Climate Change, to hedge their bets) carries an exceptionally strong hold on a person's mind. Religion does not readily dislodge. I am wondering how your friend reconciles the most curious of flip-flops. Why did Bill Gates suddenly turn into a Denier? Gates was a very heavy promoter until his sudden renouncement on TV. At his crescendo he made the case for a massive global project of stratospheric aerosol injection for the urgent purpose of increasing the Earth's albedo, or colloquially, "dimming the sun." The supposedly biggest, most urgent existential threat to humanity does not vanish just because you'd like to make a few dollars on AI compute centers.

There is a very wide divide between people such as ourselves who constantly want to know what is true, and how we know it is true, versus those who, when faced with an issue or topic, want to know what to think. This is sharply expressed in mainstream media articles where the form of the headline is "What you need to know about ... [the new thing of the week]". The media was especially bold with this approach when it came to Hunter BIden's laptop.

If I have to interact with a lib, I'm still polite and kind, but I refuse to get into politics, jabs, wokery etc. It's like banging my head against a wall.. I get nothing out of it but a headache.
The whole climate change theory is based on a group of models. It turns out that all the models are wrong and whoever designed the models made large, determinative, intentional errors. And they entered flawed and inaccurate data to try to achieve the story line that the hoax and the money demanded.

For those of you unfamiliar with Maurice Strong, allow me to introduce him to you. I’ll drop a bit of info here, the rest you can read via the links provided.
The origins of climate alarmism, and the climate change hoax, very likely started with Maurice Strong as far back as 1972. In that year, he organised the first Earth Summit, The Stockholm Conference on the Human Environment. This led to the formation of UN Environment Program (UNEP) with Maurice Strong at its head. Later, as the UNEP boss, he organised the first international expert group meeting on climate change. In turn, this led to exotic UN sponsored organizations such as Earth Council and Earth Charter, The World Resources Institute, the World Wildlife Fund and later The Commission for World Governance and the UN’s University for Peace. Strong was the driving force behind the idea of world governance by the United Nations.
His goal was clear from the start: the collapse of capitalism. During an interview in 1992, he said this: “What if a small group of world leaders were to conclude that the principal risk to the Earth comes from the actions of the rich countries? And if the world is to survive, those rich countries would have to sign an agreement reducing their impact on the environment. Will they do it? The group's conclusion is 'no'. The rich countries won't do it. They won't change. So, in order to save the planet, the group decides: Isn't the only hope for the planet that the industrialized civilizations collapse? Isn't it our responsibility to bring that about?”
In 1987, Strong managed the UN Brundtland report that warned human Co2 could raise global temperatures, harm agriculture, “raise sea levels, flood coastal cities and disrupt national economies.” The report called for a major global effort to curb carbon dioxide emissions.
In 1988, Strong formed the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The IPCC’s goal is NOT to find the true cause of climate change but to convince the world that human emissions cause climate change. The IPCC is a marketing organization, not a scientific organization.

Amusingly, for someone who dedicated his life to the collapse of Capitalism, with rich countries targeted in particular, he was for many years the CEO of PetroCan, Canada's nationalized oil company and gas station franchise. I've given up on trying to point out the MSM lies to friends (well, only one) and relatives (quite a few) who are totally brainwashed by the propaganda. It will take MSM being forced to tell the truth to have any hope of changing their minds (but if they think they are being forced to tell the truth, they won't believe it)
