I know, it happened during the USS Carl Vinson 1998 deployment โSouthern Watchโ which I was attached too. The AOs forgot to pull the arming pin. It also cannot handle the newer more powerful engines and was ordered no maximum thrust during launching. Itโs a really a mean design, but itโs antiquated. Good enough for airshows, but not combat.
