• George Floyd the footage got leaked to anons very quickly, then deleted very shortly after, and they ran with an edited video designed to trigger sympathy while cutting out the worst and clearest parts. Remove as much visual imagery to back up claims while having presented enough evidence to get the claims made. Stimulus bait -> response -> narrative shaping -> desired reaction. Hegel.
• Here, they put out as much police coverage as possible up front, because they want us to see the police mishandling the response.
• They make sure to be non-responsive to complaints
• Heavily armored initial response, as they want to signal that a violent response is “expected” and hope to trigger one, but also to present imagery of a total lack of alignment with natives - designed to push us farther. They want incitement. Have law enforcement behave lawlessly to incite lawlessness, at which point have the police crack down with the fullest possible weight of the law. Bait.
• Show the heaviest areas of conflict hoping to incite more.
• Keep focus away from lawful means and methods and responses
• Throw propaganda at the “poor, innocent” “migrants” to similarly convince them that they’re under threat at the same time to further escalate tensions

I didn’t, yet (sheepish grin, but also why I said “both”), but did watch a lot of videos on it, including from Boone. Obviously not going to be as good as the book itself though.

To point, I still think the center of the meme is on point, but the sidebars need to change. Still don’t have any thoughts on what to change them to, though….
