I'm sure there's some bad in there, but also an increase in H-2A for legal foreign farm work. In-law family is very long history farming and employing workers from Mexico for different harvest jobs.

THEY ARE ALL FAT AND REQUIRE A MOBILITY SCOOTER!!! Why do you think chicken farmers hire Mexicans? It's not because of not enough people to do the jobs, it's because those folks are on government subsidized food stamps and eat themselves into obesity.
It is truly amazing to see an entire generation that is incapable of working because of their food choices. The deeps state has planned this. When food has chemicals in it that addicts folks to keep purchasing it, then we need to rethink our food supply.

Now, how do you propose to get legal workers into those barns? Please tell me the answer to that question because if you can only say "DEPORT THE ILLEGALS" then you had better be prepared to pay $20+ per chicken. And supplies of chicken will begin to dwindle thus the price rises. Automation? The farmers are barely squeaking by with paying the illegals fifteen bucks an hour to pick up the dead chickens and scrape the chicken crap off the floor.
White Americans will refuse to do that job so what is the answer?

If Americans are gonna work in scrappy jobs, they need to have an incentive. Cut their food supply and government freebies and watch them slim down and beg to pick up dead chickens. Until then there is no incentive to get them off the couch.
We have always had legal programs for itinerant farm workers.
The corporations probably want to hire farm managers and full time workers cheeper than they pay the locals to run their farms.
The current work programs are just for harvesting i belive.
