This is only half true. The Qu'ran is filled with contradictory quotes. So many, in fact, that there's too many to list. It would take multiple posts to highlight them all.
No it worse than that, this is fucking retarded and shows the person doesn't understand religious theonomy.
For example this verse:
"Obey those in authority among you.”
Surah 4:59
Would only apply to what they consider" godly " laws / authorities and wouldn't apply to anything that's contrary to their scripture.... Just like in Christianity.
Fuck Islam but this is a stupid argument. Just as stupid as the people admonishing Christians that refused to get covid vaccinations because they weren't submitting to the government's authority.
The koran is a made up book. Inspired by satan. So obedience isnt really a thing when it comes to satan worship. Theirnis no standard. Do what the flesh lust to do.
The tweet directly addresses Muslims causing trouble in Japan by quoting four Quran verses. Surah 2:256 states there is no compulsion in religion. Surah 4:59 instructs to obey those in authority among you. Surah 49:13 notes that nations and tribes were made so people may know one another. Surah 109:6 declares for you is your religion and for me is mine. The post then asks why Japanese people must accept religious practices that disturb public spaces, food culture, and local rules. It ends by asking if the recipients even understand the Quran and commands them to stop causing trouble in Japan.
The contexts of those citations are Important for the interpretation.
Some who claim to be Christians do this too, they'll pull 2nd Corinthians 5:21 out of context: (IMHO, this is one of the most egregious ones, and is addressed In D. R. McConnell's book, A Different Gospel which I highly recommend!)
For God made Him who knew no sin to become sin for us that we may become the righteousness of God in Christ.
and say that Jesus became sin itself. The NIV is one of the few translations that translates it sin offering, and this is done in the footnotes. If you look at both the context of this verse:
And the whole of Scripture, including Isaiah 52:13 -Isaiah 53, John 1: 35 - 42. (and many others) bears witness to the better translation being sin offering.
Without the context of those verses, we really can't determine what they truly mean.
In other words, militant islam is condemned by the Quran. I am pretty sure this includes the official 9/11 story if you believe the narrative of muslim guys with boxcutters taking over planes and slamming them into buildings.
Just as Christians weighted some passages over others, so Muslims do the same thing. Christians are supposed to weight things by Christ's authority, e.g. Jesus said the two greatest commandments are Love the LORD your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength, and Love your neighbor as yourself.
On the other hand, the Koran has over one hundred verses calling for killing 'infidels' , and Jews and Christians are specifically cited to be gone after first:
The Quran’s Sura 5:33 says about infidels, “They shall be slain or crucified, or have their hands and feet cut off.” Sura 9:5 says, “Slay the infidels wherever you find them ... and lie in wait for them ... and establish every stratagem (of war against them).” Sura 47:4-9 promises paradise to whoever cuts off the head of an infidel.
Why then do we see Muslim majority nations consistently using the tactic of slaying or persecuting Christians, and slaying or driving out any Jews among them? They are not being persecuted in these cases, they are the persecutors!
Thanks for that post and you are spot on, my friend. The devil knows how to infiltrate and can make himself appear as an angel of light. Satan has been trying to change God's Word since the beginning, when he said, "Hath God said?" The Koran is not God's Word, let us not fall for that garbage.
Woe be to me if I do not tell the truth of the Gospel when I can, and give the 'heads up' to those who may be fooled by a counterfeit. (I deal with another counterfeit in the second comment I made on this thread...)

If you read the full texts of Surah 2, 9, and 47, those are the sections that call for tax or killing of unbelievers. https://www.rrstar.com/story/opinion/letters/2014/12/31/letter-quran-has-123-verses/35594848007/

Muslim Apologists often will say, this was for times of persecution... https://medium.com/@StudioArabiya/does-the-quran-really-say-to-kill-the-disbelievers-c8a646774b45

When does this apply?: Surely it's not being applied here?: https://greatawakening.win/p/1ASsicKmNY/islamic-state-killing-christians/c/
