The glass of ice water disproves the scare.
That works for the Arctic where ice is floating on water but not for the Antarctic where the ice is on land.
Yep. But they are talking about the part that is on the water. The part that you don’t hear about is that the Earth is slowly tilting upright. It’s very slow but predictable. That makes the Antarctic a little cooler in the summer and a little warmer in the winter.
Perhaps a Russian research vessel and Chinese icebreaker should go check it out again.
But this time don't get stuck in the ice and expect the U.S. Coast Guard icebreaker Polar Star to come and break you free....
Ask Chukna his opinion on the matter. He seems an expert in Icebreakers.
