I think that's the reason for the hard push on redistricting and election monitoring this year.
Expulsion is the only constitutional method for removing a sitting Representative or Senator. It requires a two-thirds supermajority vote by the respective chamber under Article I, Section 5, Clause 2. The House or Senate can expel members for disloyalty to the United States or criminal convictions involving abuse of official position.
Republicans hold 218 seats and Democrats hold 213 seats in the U.S. House of Representatives, with four vacancies resulting from deaths and resignations. A 2/3rds majority is 287 seats. Redistricting should give Republicans 17 more seats.
NO CHEATING election monitoring should gain Republicans and extra 20 seats at least. That would be 255 seats R vs. 176 seats D. Not quite 2/3rds, but getting close. Unsealing indictments may remove most of the bad actors too.
In the U.S. Senate, Republicans control 53 seats while Democrats hold 47 seats. Fair elections may change the Senate balance to 60/40. Not quite 2/3rds, but close. Again, unsealed indictments may remove the bad actors.
