It would be a fun day if the election was deemed void or stalled due to voting irregularities pending an investigation. Bass can hold on to the position while investigations take place. Then once it is found that they cheated, they are immediately removed from power, arrested, and a new election takes place. But I fear as far as the plan is considered, the theft will take place and it will be another piece of evidence to use once the hammer drops.
The reality is that you'd have to create a lengthy investigation to find any honesty in CA election system.
