For email, shopping, internet streaming , word processing etc various Linux flavors work very well. You will need to run Windows virtual machines on a Linux base of you have specific proprietary software you need to run in Windows 11

I'm curious as to how hard or easy it is to make the switch. I am pretty computer savy, however, I have not ever worked with any other OS. I'll need to look into this a bit further. I don't want to get bogged down getting it up and running with all my current software and data.
