I bought a full auto airsoft for a pigeon problem I'm having because I don't want to kill them. I will have to admit, the thing is a blast. And the pigeons don't come around too much anymore.

As a survivor of quite a few 70's and 80's bb gun wars, I would say no.

I personally will stick with PCP's/pellets due to their tight grouping at a distance capability.
