If you as a 17 year old (right?) are even remotely capable of murdering someone like he did; there's virtually ZERO chance he will improve in any meaningful way.
He will likely virtually never be able to become a law abiding, productive member of society.
He's not going to magically "get better / less violent", just like demons who torture small animals almost always grow up to become serial killers.
It's just how it is.
It's sad that this 17 year old decided to throw his life away, but......he made that decision. Now he has to pay the consequence. In this life, and the next.
Life for life. You kill, you die. Why do we house murderers for years and years? Death penalty puts the fear of God into criminals.
