Apart from that:

• the Netherlands has a system of tax revenue redistribution, so called "toeslagen". It is not a tax credit, it is a handout.

3. A handout for child after school care

These handouts are based on income. The issue is always that it is based on last years income. When it changes, and it does more often than not, a recalculation happens and in many cases money has to be paid back. The rules are many and opaque.

But, when a recipient fails to pay back timely, interest and fines apply automatically. Before this system was executed, many warned against it, for exactly this reason: tax office is incapable of doing it correctly.

Sidenote:

The computer system the tax office uses, is old and patched together. A RFQ has been sent to a Colorado state residing software company to build a system that could facilitate the current and future tax administration. However, large Dutch software companies like Cap Gemini, do not like it, that a US company would gain the contract.

A second issue is that the EU is not happy with its dependence on US software. You can see where this is heading.

At any rate:

when failing to pay, some families may face a process called WSNP. It is meant to offer help to sanitize debts and get out of debt.

The legal system does not require this, but this is how it is done: first the interest is paid, then the costs associated with the debt, and then the principal. It is easy to see what the problem is here: turn the sequence around, and people have a shot at getting out of debt. Some of the people subject to this WSNP process, started out with a debt of 75000 Euro, and after 10 years, still have 75000 Euro to pay. In essence, it is a debt perpetuation scheme, as those working in that section of .gov services, only look to pay themselves first.

Normally, a proposal is put forward to all creditors for a payment scheme. Regular credits will often accept a haircut on their claims. But not so for .gov. They want to be paid in full to the last cent. They are the biggest and most formidable hindrance.

Because of the deteriorating situation of such families, child social services is used to audit recipient families, and of course, they find a lot to be desired. These organizations only exists for themselves and are often staffed with "well meaning (cough, cough) " people who have huge mental and emotional issues themselves.

So, here we have the state, by a multi pronged approach, destroys families, takes children away, and subsequently loses sight of them.

1700 children and counting are unaccounted for.

Of course, the Dutch state will maintain that they honor human rights and Children's Rights in particular, but the EFFECTS of their policies are exactly the opposite.

There is a special term for this, when those "side-effects" are actually the objective sought. It is difficult to prove, and this is the legal cover they need to perpetuate this scheme.

It is like the Supreme Court of the Netherlands saying: we do honor a person's right to self-determination and this is expressed in the law governing schooling of children. Of course you may choose your child's schooling ..... as long as there is not a school close by.

The net effect is typical pharisaic/ talmudic.

Evil does not come close to describe it.
