"7 different Obama Center subcontractors muzzled by non-disclosure agreements have sought his help in pursuing their claims over the past four months. Several say they are owed seven-figure sums, he said, but willing to settle for less to be able to stay in business.“It’s to the point that they wished they never had done (the project).”

The Obama Presidential Center was meant to lift up local contractors. Some are now fighting for survival.
Who owes who?
The main contractor, if I recall was picked based on race. White contractors were excluded from the bidding process, because they are racist.
Main contractors do this to small subcontractors all the time, don’t pay them, bankrupt them and pocket the money.
That is ugly. Thanks.
