Personally, I think the lack of details suggests either negotiations are still ongoing or there are parts of the deal they're intentionally holding back for now.
What makes me skeptical is that if this deal is truly as incredible as people are claiming, Trump would usually be shouting the details from the rooftops. He's never been shy about promoting a win.
I'm also wary of the "it's not taxpayer money" defense. That's almost word for word what Obama supporters said about Iran a decade ago. If this deal is genuinely better, I think the stronger argument is explaining why it's better, not reusing defenses that many of us rejected when Obama was president.
He would love to announce a win. However, it won't be a win when it's underminded almost immediately by Israel.
He's keeping them, and their evil step sister, the media, in the dark intentionally. Once it's a done deal, I suspect the entire middle east will have signed an even bigger agreement together, secluding Israel.
This quarantines them.
Additionally, it won't be tax dollars. The new deal will be contingent on a mix of oil and tariffs. All of Europe will have to capitulate or pony up or be excluded from the new middle east.
