I wish that the article was a bit clearer on what was and what is proposed. I am thinking that back in 2020 that the Judges were keeping the Israeli government from. Being able to put laws into effect. Kind of like what liberal judges have been doing to DJT.

Maybe the law put forth in July 2024 was in response to the 2020 judicial interference?
