I thought I saw a theory circulating about age verification, something like that ai companies were pushing for age verification because with bots more popular now, it's hard to tell who is human or not (like for ad revenue of calculating real traffic numbers of users online and such)
That is the excuse but it is to basically end the true purpose of the internet. The internet in my opinion about access to fast information without judgement based on identity from individual sources.
