We seized a sanctioned vessel that came from China on its way to Iran. The ship was taken to Diego to be searched. It was carrying, from what I am hearing based upon where the ship was loaded in China which was open source tracked, precursors for solid rocket fuel. Not the first time. China was also moving dual use products by rail through Iran's northern rail corridor. The only thing I am aware of that Russia provided was intelligence. Which China did as well that allowed the IR to better target US forces. That sounds like involvement to me.
Tell you the truth I wondered about that as well. I had gleaned a bit of that info (China) but didn't hear that back story.
I have followed the CCP for years as well as the ME. I am very aware of what is taking place in those back stories. The public face does not match the back stories. It is all part of the geopolitical brinkmanship game. They all know it's total BS. But it is what is feed to the public. For many of these despots it's all about giving face. Trump knows how to lay it on thick. The moral to the story is to pay less attention to what they say as opposed to what they actually do. Words mean almost nothing.

No, been watching the CCP for too long to buy into that Trump/Xi/Putin alliance thing for a second. Xi is not an ally. Putin? At first I entertained the thought. But as time has progressed and actually watched him in action beyond the glowing propaganda fed to Western audiences, that thought has greatly diminished. Putin right now is not in a good position. Frankly, I think he was played by Xi to start the war with Ukraine that has turned Russia into a vassal state of China. It's not looking good for Russia at all. Moscow today was massively under attack from Ukrainian drones that their supposed superior air defense systems were unable to control. Putin worked hard to keep the war away from his base support in the major cities - Moscow and St Petersburg. That has now backfired horribly. The war has now come home to average Russians instead of being on some distant battlefield. The tide has shifted.
The CCP wants our destruction - especially Xi. He is a hard core Maoist that is not content to just do business with the West. He wants the exportation of the Communist Revolution to the entire world. He honestly believes in Communist ideology. Of this I have no doubts.
I read the deal, it didn't say anything about Iran relationship with Russia and China.
