The first part is so great that it cannot be understated, but regarding living and prices, I'm not sure what planet he is living on. Haven't had a raise in 3 years. Groceries in the midwest keep climbing, probably because diesel fuel is still $5-5.50 a gallon. Ribeye is $25-30 a pound and they just raised the price of a bag of Morton salt again. Property taxes are now $6,000 a year. Homeowners insurance went up $1,000 a year. Gamestop trading sideways after six profitable quarters and crypto, silver, gold, all down significantly in the last 6 months. After 10 years I'm seriously regretting my investment choices and I'm ready to get out of this house just to liquidate what equity I've built so I can survive without the crushing weight of all of it.
One of my favorite restaurants just up their prices across the entire menu by like 30%. All of their suppliers have jacked up their prices, and the rent went up on their building.
I sold a profitable business four years ago because I couldn't find employees. It is rough as hell out there and it has not gotten better.
