We have way more aircraft there than we need to blow up the IRGC’s businesses or anything else. We will continue to rotate fighter squadrons into a few bases along the gulf. It is a bit of a pain in the butt to deploy for 3 months every so often. I think they have spread the wealth a little more now.
What does the military want to do? Arrive, kick ass, and go home. The military doesn’t like to drag it out. Especially with crap rules of engagement.
